Awol soldiers arrested by police

A member of the public, who knew there was a warrant out for their arrest, said she saw the two soldiers on Tuesday in Cwmbach, near Aberdare, and reported them to police.

Claire Hodges, 27, who knows Pte Jones through a friend, said she was in a car with her partner John Morgan when she recognised the men, who she said were looking at cars on a showroom forecourt.

"We pulled into the side to double-check it was them and it definitely was so I thought we've got to go to the police," she said.
