MICK HARRIS (Scorn, Quoit, Lull)
MOTHBOY
THE LAST SOUND
Sun 7th Sep 03
The Sugar Club, Leeson St, Dublin 2
€10 at the door.
Mick Harris, the prolific ambient dub terrorist, is playing in Dublin on September 7th.
Originally the drummer with the infamous Napalm Death, in the early 90s Harris went on to experiment in ambient and dub soundscapes with his Scorn project.
Scorn have gained a devoted following through a succession of atmospheric, brooding albums, with Harris also experimenting in other styles, such as drum n bass with his Quoit alias.
This gig, Harris’ first time in Dublin since playing with ND in 1990, proves to be a treat for all fans of creepy ambient dub, with some up-tempo drum n bass thrown in for good measure.

A guy called John!
Could I BE any more vague?
He's well up for putting on some gigs that might not normally happen on these shores so if this goes well, expect to see Anal Cunt sometime soon in Reynards.
